In The America’s Cup campaign, you will skipper one of the 11 official challengers to win the Louis Vuitton Cup, where you will be up against all the boats in the competition. Victory will enable you to take part in the America’s Cup, the ultimate finale, where you will challenge Alinghi, the Swiss boat and current holder of the trophy, to a breathtaking duel.

In the game, each official boat has its own characteristics and statistics (crew, hull, sail, weight, etc.) which will influence the boat’s performance, its behavior and the AI controlling it. To make the game as realistic as possible, the performance and behavior of each boat take into account the results achieved by the challengers during the preliminary rounds of the America’s Cup held in 2006.
